Age of Information(AoI)已成為評估即時狀態更新系統中新鮮度(freshness)的核心指標,特別適用於感測網路、物聯網(IoT)與即時監控等應用場景。與傳統以延遲或吞吐量為主的效能指標不同,AoI 同時刻畫了資訊更新的頻率與時效性,能更精確地反映接收端所掌握狀態資訊的有效程度。在多節點隨機接入環境中,媒體存取控制(MAC)機制對 AoI 的影響尤為關鍵。Slotted ALOHA 作為一種結構簡單且廣泛應用的隨機接入協定,其在時槽化傳輸下所引發的碰撞、重傳與封包成功率,會直接影響更新封包的到達過程,進而改變系統的 AoI 行為。因此,近年研究逐漸聚焦於在 Slotted ALOHA 架構下,分析不同存取機率、節點數量與封包產生策略對 AoI 的影響,並探討如何透過調整傳輸機制或引入跨層設計,以在維持系統穩定性的同時最小化平均 AoI 或峰值 AoI。這類研究不僅為隨機接入網路提供了新的效能最佳化視角,也為低功耗、即時性導向的 IoT 系統設計奠定了理論基礎。
